Half term: Dunkirk 85 ‘Little Ships’ Challenge

Commemorate 85 years of Operation Dynamo (Dunkirk) by crafting your very own ‘Little Ship’. The ‘Little Ships’ were civilian boats that were called to help the Royal Navy evacuate the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) from Dunkirk. They played an important role during the evacuation and are estimated to have rescued 15,000 to 20,000 troops. In total, around 338, 000 troops were evacuated during Operation Dynamo.
