Museum Trails
Our trails take you on a journey through the Visitor Centre, exploring some of the stories, people, systems and places which make this site what it is.

Bunker Worksheet
Our Bunker activity worksheet is perfect for younger audiences to complete during our bunker tours. With a mixture of questions and activities, this worksheet highlights some of the key features you’ll see in the Bunker.

Under 5’s Area
We’ve created a dedicated space for children under 5 within the museum space of our Visitor Centre. Equipped with a variety of books and toys, our goal is to ensure that both children and their families can engage with the site and our history.

Take part, make, play and learn at the Battle of Britain Bunker.

Pipsqueaks! Toddler Story Sessions
Join Pilot Tally-Ho and friends as they go on adventures, make new friends and sing-along-to your favourite nursery rhymes. This activity is aimed for children 18 months – 3 years but younger babies are welcome!

Holiday Crafts & Trails
Join us for holiday family fun! Try your hand at seasonally themed Mess Hall crafts or follow our trails around the museum. Suitable for all ages, running every day over the school holidays between 10am and 4pm

Family Friendly Bunker Tour
Relaxed, shorter in length, and specifically geared towards younger minds! Suggested age range is 7-11, but younger visitors are welcome.

The Bunker Unguided
An opportunity to experience an unguided visit to the Bunker! Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions whilst you explore the Operations Room and the Cabins at your own pace. Perfect for all ages, from wriggly toddlers to grandparents.

Baby Changing
Baby changing facilities are available on the First Floor of the Visitor Centre in the Accessible toilet.

Changing Places
Unfortunately, we currently do not have a Changing Places toilet. Your nearest Changing Places toilet is located in Uxbridge town centre;

Coats & Buggy Park
We can store one buggy in the Auditorium cloakroom. Please ask a member of staff for assistance. We ask that visitors avoid bringing large bags into the museum.
The Visitor Centre has level access throughout and a lift between the spaces.

Café and shop
There are highchairs available on request.
There is a shop near the main entrance which sells pocket money gifts specifically for children.

When You Arrive
We have two carparks on site – the upper carpark is reserved for coaches, brown-badge holders and blue-badge holders. The lower carpark has an accessible entrance to the Visitor Centre for prams, please call reception upon arrival so that a member of staff can assist you.

Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is encouraged and supported across our site.

Eating Areas
There are picnic benches near the outside aircrafts and plenty of space for running around.
