Keep Calm Its Christmas Crafts – 10:00-16:00
Get creative this Christmas with a fun-filled festive craft session in the Visitor Centre! Little ones can enjoy a selection of seasonal, Second World War-inspired activities while discovering how people celebrated Christmas during wartime.
Perfect for families looking to add a little festive creativity to their visit, with crafts to make and memories to take home.

Keep Calm it’s Christmas Pipsqueaks – 10:30
Bring your little ones along for a magical Christmas Story & Play session, specially created for our youngest visitors! Enjoy festive tales, make new friends, sing along to favourite Christmas songs and nursery rhymes, and discover plenty of seasonal fun.
Perfect for children aged 18 months–3 years, with younger babies welcome too.
£2.50 per child – up to two accompanying adults go FREE.
Festive Family Tour – 12:30
Step back to Christmas 1940 with a special family-friendly tour of the Battle of Britain Bunker. Discover how the bunker helped defend Britain during the Second World War, then explore what festive life was like on RAF bases during wartime, from homemade decorations and seasonal traditions to Christmas celebrations far from home.
These relaxed, shorter tours are specially designed for younger minds, making history engaging and accessible for the whole family. Suggested age: 7–11 years (younger visitors are welcome).
Under 16s go FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.
Keep Calm Its Christmas Sing-A-Thon – 14:00
Fill the Visitor Centre with festive cheer as we welcome a local school choir for a heartwarming Christmas sing-along. Enjoy a wonderful selection of seasonal favourites and classic carols performed by talented young voices, bringing the magic of Christmas to the museum.
Take a moment to soak up the festive atmosphere and join in with your favourite songs as we celebrate the season together.
