The Battle of Britain Bunker is a underground Operations Room where the RAF fought the Battle of Britain in 1940, the site Churchill visited before coining his famous words of thanks. Now run by Hillingdon Council, it brings pupils face-to-face with WWII history through hands on Learning Centre sessions and a private tour of the bunker itself.
